There’s nowhere I need to be,

fast enough to not arrive.

The best time machine,

is a deadline.


Closed

They shut my favourite spot,

sealed it up and off.


Bright blue tape and a brazen sign,

big, yellow, and COMING SOON,

but what I wanted had already left.


Tour Groups

They look in the glass,

bang on our cage,

trade whispered jokes,

can’t they read the sign?


DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS.


One sympathises with simian shit flinging,

it’s an appropriate response.
