Theatre

Familiar scents,

worn out chairs,

scraping over scratched boards.

Laughter, poured out like drinks,

the show could begin forever.

Late Evening Friendships

Three month silence,

broken by laughter

in the cause of a second life.

Comfort without restriction,

thought or issue,

true friendship works late

and answered first.

Outside

Standing, hands on glass, looking in at a day,

a life you can't even ask the price of.

A brick payment taken,

the cost accepted,

revolution reflected in shards,

worlds shatter in screams.
